Why Would You Need Tune Adjustable Gas Block?
Most AR-15s run over-gassed from the factory, causing excessive bolt carrier velocity, battering, and recoil. An adjustable gas block needs to be properly tuned to your specific ammunition and suppressor configuration. Customers come in for a tune when:
- New suppressor is causing excessive blowback and over-cycling
- Ejection pattern is erratic (3 o’clock means over-gassed; 4-5 o’clock is ideal)
- Brass is getting dented, stretched, or thrown too far

Yes. If you have a suppressor, bring it. We’ll tune for both suppressed and unsuppressed configurations if you use both.
What ammo should I bring?
Bring the ammo you shoot most. At minimum 30-40 rounds. If you use multiple loads, bring a box of each.
Can you install an adjustable gas block as part of this service?
Installation and tuning can be done in the same appointment. The $50 covers the tune; installation is priced separately if you need a new block installed.
